How to Check CIBIL Score Using Google Pay for Free?

We can check our CIBIL score very simply and for free through Google’s UPI app called Google Pay. By checking through a trusted app called Google Pay or GPAY, our credit details are not shared and we get a very accurate CIBIL score. For this, Google Pay only requires the name on your PAN card.

What is the CIBIL score?

In a word, CIBIL score is the outcome of your credit transactions. It is on the basis of this CIBIL score that banks and other financial institutions grant us loans and provide alternative services like credit cards. Your CIBIL score is based on your past transactions. It will be a number between 300 and 900. In general, if you have a CIBIL score above 700, you will not have much difficulty in accessing services such as loans or credit cards.

How to check CIBIL score through Google Pay?

• For this, open the Google Pay app on your phone.
• Click on Check your CIBIL score for free under Manage your money.
• (Checking your CIBIL score does not affect your CIBIL score in any way) Click on Check your score now button.
• In the First name field, enter the first part of your name as it appears on your PAN card.
• In the Last name field, enter your last name as it appears on your PAN card.
• Tick the check boxes and click the Continue button.
• (Now you can see your CIBIL score between 300 and 900) Click on the Continue button to view your complete credit report.
